What should I know before I schedule a Ford Mobile Service appointment?
There are a few important things you should know before you schedule an appointment with our Ford Mobile Service van. These include:
Can you rotate tires?
Yes, we can, but your vehicle must be on a flat paved or concrete surface.
Can you perform the recalls on my vehicle?
Yes, we typically can, but we will have to check which recall is needed to confirm.
Can you service my non-Ford?
Yes, we can service all makes and models but will need to order the correct parts for your specific vehicle.
Can you service my vehicle at my work?
Yes, as long as there is space for our van to park in front of your car and we are allowed to service on the property. We cannot perform services in a parking garage or on a main road.
How much more is mobile service compared to bringing my vehicle in?
There is no extra cost. Ford Mobile Service is the same price for services as our main service center.
My vehicle is dead, when’s the soonest I can get my vehicle jumped/battery replaced?
We have a mobile van that can come out to you as quickly as possible. Please call our team for an exact date and time, as this can vary based on appointments.

What do Ford Mobile Service customers often ask the technicians?
Our technicians are here to answer any questions you have about your vehicle's repair needs. It's often best to ask your questions in advance of the appointment, as then we can often provide more thorough information on pricing, recalls and more. Can you service vehicles that were not purchased from Shults Ford?
Yes, we can absolutely service your vehicle, even if you didn't purchase it from us!
I discovered another issue with my vehicle since I made my appointment, can you handle that repair as well?
Our team can take a look at all issues your vehicle is having, though we may need special equipment to handle more robust repairs. We may also need to order Ford parts specifically for your repair that we may not have on hand in the van.
Is my car battery covered in my warranty?
Our team can take a look at the mileage on your Ford vehicle to determine if specific components and repairs are covered under warranty. If your vehicle is under 3 years old or has fewer than 36,000 miles on the odometer, it is likely covered.1 We suggest calling our team in advance to confirm this for you.
I have FordPass® Reward to use. Can I use them on Ford Mobile Service?
Yes, you can typically redeem FordPass® Reward points on Ford Mobile Service as well as other services we offer.1
What list of services does the Ford Mobile van offer?
Some services we offer include battery replacements, oil and oil filter changes, brake repairs, recalls and more. For a comprehensive list, please speak with our Ford service team, as it may vary based on the parts need to complete a particular job.
Can you set up a follow-up appointment to handle additional Ford maintenance needs?
Yes, our technicians can set up a follow-up appointment to get additional Ford services completed that may be discovered during the initial appointment. Many services we handle with the Ford Mobile Service van, but if a robust car repair is required, you may need to visit one of our PA or WV Ford service centers nearby.
