Welcome Home, Marc Fogel!
After being wrongfully imprisoned in Russia for 3.5 years, Marc Fogel finally returned home to Butler County. Richard Bazzy of Shults Ford heard about Marc's story, and felt the desire to help Marc feel supported by his community and reconnect with home -- in the way that only Ford Motor Company can.
"If you have the ability, then you have the responsibility," Richard said.

Touring the Dearborn Truck Plant
Richard used his connections with Ford Motor Company to arrange a tour for Marc of the Dearborn Truck Plant. While taking the tour, Marc got to connect with the passionate individuals who create the vehicles that are so synonymous with American culture. The pride the factory workers take really shone through, and it's that same pride that's passed on to dealers when they receive these vehicles; a generational pride that keeps those in the Ford community connected to their roots.
At the end of the tour, there was one last surprise for Marc: a brand-new F-150 truck, courtesy of Richard Bazzy.
"My first new car in my life -- 63 years! I want you to know this is the first one," Marc said through laugher as he took in his new ride. "All of these people who have been so kind to me, it's so humbling. It's been soothing to my head, and certainly my soul. To me, these are the real heroes of it all."
Shults Ford in the Community
Marc's F-150 is a gift of freedom, resilience and American pride. We love finding ways to connect with our community through the Ford brand, helping to improve lives by showing that we care.
While we loved being able to welcome Marc home and show him our support, we know that the journey doesn't stop here. There are still plenty of ways for us to connect with the community, and we're excited to get involved with whatever the future may bring.
